As this is my first blog post, I thought I would explain how I want my business to run. I thought long and hard about setting up Hardyclean, and the direction I wanted to go.
I decided to set up as a Sole Trader to provide me with the time and freedom to put you, the customer first. I have worked for a few cleaning companies of different sizes, in different capacities including part time, full time, supervisor and cleaning operative. One thing that always stood out to me was that there was always so much going on that the actual cleaning was often an afterthought.
I believe that in setting up Hardyclean to focus on a small number of contracts, I will be able to manage my team of cleaning operatives and oversee each job, offering my support, help and advice. I aim to know every contract like the back of my hand as every customer is different – even with something as simple as cleaning. Some staff might like cups cleaned from their desks whilst others don’t want to let their favourite mug leave their sight. Knowing the small details can really help with providing a tailored cleaning service.
I am hopeful that with Hardyclean we can offer a truly outstanding, reliable service and that the contracts we have won’t just be a number to us. Each contract will be treated with the TLC it deserves, no matter how big or small.
A bigger company just cannot offer this service with their many contracts, so why not give the little fish in the big pond a try.
